Getting Started
Quickstart
Deploy your first app on compos from a repository.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Git repository for your application
- An account on compos
- A terminal (or the dashboard)
Step 1: Connect your repository
From the dashboard, create a project and connect your repository. compos uses the repository as the source of truth for your application.
Step 2: Configure your build
compos detects a sensible default build for most frameworks. When you need to override it, you can edit the build command, install command, and output directory before deploying. The defaults work for the majority of projects.
Step 3: Deploy
Start the deploy. compos clones your repository, installs dependencies, runs your build, and prepares an isolated runtime for your application. Build logs stream in real time while this happens.
Step 4: Reach your endpoint
When the deploy finishes, compos hands you a live endpoint with HTTPS. Point a custom domain at it when you are ready.
